Before doing business with Adulis Enterprises Interpreters List, please familiarize yourself with our policies.

• There is a two-hour minimum charge on all assignments,
• Adulis MCS requires a notice of cancellation 48 hours (two full business days) before a scheduled assignment; otherwise, payment in full is expected.
• On-site interpreter assignments need to be scheduled at least 48 hours ahead of time.
• A two-hour minimum applies to all on-site interpreter assignments.
• Mileage and travel time fees are charged to all on-site interpreter assignments that require 30 miles or more one way.
• All parking, entry, and toll charges are applied to invoices.
• Interpreters require a minimum 30-minute lunch/dinner break for any assignment lasting more than 4 hours. Lunch breaks are included and charged as part of the service.
• Multiple on-site interpreters may be required for one assignment depending on the type of interpretation (consecutive, simultaneous, duration, and the number of people involved).
• Conferences or on-going assignments may require more notice. Contact Adulis MCS for details.
• All cancellations must be made in writing.
• Adulis MCS will look at the length and the complexity of the assignment and determine the number of interpreters needed to ensure top quality interpretation for deaf and hard-of-hearing clients and to protect the occupational safety of our interpreters. • Adulis MCS will unless negotiated otherwise at the time of the request, bill for any assignments canceled due to inclement weather.

*If Adulis MCS is covering an assignment for you that is regularly scheduled over a specified period of time (e.g., a class which is scheduled for one semester) and consistent interpreters are needed on the assignment, five full business days’ notice are required to cancel a single date of the assignment. If the assignment itself cancels after it has begun, you are billed for two weeks or until the end of the assignment, whichever is shorter. Conferences, because of their complexity and preparation time, may require more than three days’ notice. Contact Adulis MCS for details.
